Some dates for those of you who like to visit the outdoor food and craft markets in Sheffield:
  • Farmers' Market, Barkers Pool: 27 November and 17 December
  • Christmas Market, Peace Gardens: 19 November - 22 December
  • City Lights Craft Market, Fargate: 19 - 22 November
  • Sheffield Christmas Craft Market, Fargate: 10 - 13 December

Christmas Fayre and Carol Service

Grenoside Scout and Guide Group are holding two events:
  • Saturday 28th November - Christmas Fayre, 10:30 - 12:30, Scout and Guide HQ, Saltbox Lane. Gifts, cards, tombola, raffle, children's activities, Santa's grotto. Proceeds to Grenoside Scout and Guide Group.
  • Friday 4th December - Carol Service, 7:30pm, St Mark's Church, Main Street, followed by refreshments in the church hall.

Grenoside Taverners Cricket Club present The Millionaire's Night

Saturday 16th January 2010, 7:30pm. Grenoside Community Centre. Licensed bar, pie and pea supper, tombola. Admission by ticket only - enquiries and tickets 2465919. All proceeds to local and national charities.

Grenoside Singers Winter Concert

Saturday 5th December 2009 at 7:30pm, Grenoside Methodist Church, Norfolk Hill.
A concert of music and song featuring a range of traditional and seasonal music. Admission free but there will be a retiring collection and a charge for refreshments. Contact Mike Ellis (               0114 2469926        ) or choir members for tickets.
